By Staff Feministaa in Events 01/10/2016

Feministaa got a chance to experience baking at a different level! Home Bakers turned professional chefs and patissiers from all over the world; all under one roof organised by Cakekraft India Pvt Ltd.

Cakeology 2016, organised by Cakekraft India Pvt. Ltd. is with a mission to introduce home bakers to a larger market by providing opportunities and products that will help them scale up professionally.

Dubai based Khushi Malani, Managing Director of Cakekraft India and Farzana Gandhi, Project Consultant for Cakecraft India spoke to Feministaa Media about how Cakeology is helping the budding Home Bakers.

International Bakers and Experts are invited to Cakeology every year to share and teach their experiences with the Home Bakers. Amongst the invited Experts, Rhu Strand, an Expert in making Sugar Figurines explains how her journey began. Astounded by the Indian Culture, Rhu used it as an inspiration for her work and created Indian themed figurines at the exhibition.

Attending their third Cakeology event, Valerie Valentino and Christina Ong from London, are one of the few Baking Experts who use Buttercream as their medium to decorate instead of just a filling. Their venture, Queen of Hearts Couture Cakes has already established a new standard for Buttercream.

Feministaa is proud to be associated with Khushi Malani in her initiative of giving such a huge platform and opportunity to the hardworking homebakers. Not only do events like this give the women confidence that there is a market ready to try out new and niche products but also gives a boost to their careers.
