The Biggest gathering of Women in Design Business will be happening in Hotel Pullman, New Delhi from 31st August to 1st September 2018. The annual event is called WADe ASIA (World Women Architects, Artists, Designers, Engineers Ecosystem).
It is WADe Asia’s 3rd edition, with its 1st footprint in Delhi with the fraternity joining with a major participation from throughout India.
A Legendary architect who is behind some of India’s most iconic structures, Raj Rewal, in WADe Asia 2018.
The Chandigarh woman Architect behind Indian Naval Academy Ezhimala, Asia’s Biggest Naval Academy will be the Keynote presenter at the event.
Some of the most iconic women in architecture engineering and designing such as Annie Sinha Roy, India’s first woman tunnel engineer and India’s first woman to start her own architecture firm, Sheila Sri Prakash will be present at the event. The pioneer in Mud Architecture, Revathi Kamat will also be present at WADe Asia.
WADe Asia will also witness the launch of 1st ever PHD Women Entrepreneurs Committee.
Some of the most renowned women in the panel will constitute one of the most awaited sessions of the event – Master Class with Mentors.
Leading Women in Design Business will share their journeys that are bound inspire all budding architects especially aspiring women to continue working hard on their journey to success.
Some of the names also present there to sweep your feet with their stories will be Mehek Mirza Prabhu and Deepa Malik- the first Indian woman to win a medal in Paralympic Game.
Renowned designers from all over the world would discuss in a panel and reveal What is the Future of Design?
Workshops will be conducted with the themes on Universal Design and Safe Public Space for all gender inclusion. Some of the other talks that will happen at the event are – Business Intelligence in Design, City & Heritage, Messages to Architect Daughters, & more.
Other than architecture, there will be events related to music with Ar Samuel Budiono (Indonesia) who is also a Jazz Pianist on how his architecture corresponds to music. Sukkanya Ramgopal, the first woman ghatam artist of India who will also be there to mesmerize the audience with her music. The evenings will be marked by Bollywood singers Samir & Deepali with their live performances.
Last, but not the least, the dynamic founder of WADe Asia, Vertica Dvivedi, will be there to present the main highlights of the event and connect the ideas of the dignitaries with the whole world!
