Making Waves 2018: The Grand Women Entrepreneur Networking Meet
Making Waves 2018 is a grand woman entrepreneur networking meet organized by Surprise Me Event and in collaboration with Haute Islands. Making Waves is organized with an objective to create a platform for aspiring women entrepreneurs to network with established entrepreneurs across industries and to understand the nuances, the challenges and ways to tackle the same in establishing their ventures in their respective fields of passion.
The event that is set to take place on 25th August aims at strengthening the extensive network of women entrepreneurs and Feministaa Media is proud to announce itself as the Official Media Partner. The leading face of the event is the gorgeous and inspiring ace jewelry designer- Farah Khan Ali.
Besides the grandeur of Making Waves event, it is also a way to contribute to the social cause of women empowerment, a cause which is very close to the hearts of the two women behind this Mega Event – Shibani Moorjani: Founder and CEO of Surprise Me Event and Anchal Bajaj: COO of Haute Islands.
A chance encounter of two rock-solid ladies, who share an extremely similar background and support a common cause led to the creation of this mega celeb centric event called ‘Making Waves’. Shibani Moorjani is the Founder & CEO at Surprise Me Event. After being part of the Corporate World and having worked for 7 years in Financial Services with highly reputed Multinationals, she decided to take the plunge and jumped out of her comfort zone to follow her passion for Event Planning and to make her dreams a reality.
Through her journey, she received great appreciation and reviews from the events she has planned, by her clients and renowned people at Senior Management levels in various MNCs and she was ensured that there was no looking back for her.
Shibani is a person who has found her calling is making people feel special and loved and in turn strengthening the bonds between people, and this fusion of her career with her passion is what sets her apart!
Likewise, Anchal Bajaj is the Chief Operating Officer at Haute Islands which is a luxury travel company and the only company globally to have partnered with 50 best private islands across the world. She is also a guest lecturer for MBA aspirants at leading B-schools. With 4 years of work experience in a leading multinational investment bank, Anchal decided to quit a ‘dream job’ to pursue her passion which is in travel!

Sessions by renowned women like Shilpa Khushalani, Image Consultant will be conducted aiming at encouraging women to achieve greater heights of success in their ventures. There will also be setting up kiosks to enable women entrepreneurs to sell women-centric products like jewelry etc.
A unique proposition about the event is that post the event, a mentorship programme will be carried out wherein 10 established women entrepreneurs will be mapped to aspiring women entrepreneurs to mentor and guide them regarding their ventures and help them achieve success in their journeys ahead.
